CodeREADr SMS Integration

Event organisers and asset managers who use CodeREADr need a clear response when a barcode scan is received. Without an automated follow-up, staff may need to monitor scans, identify the person or item and send a separate instruction. That can slow entry management and make routine scan notifications inconsistent.

With Zapier, CodeREADr's New Postback Receiver Scan trigger can run Mobile Message's Send SMS action. A scan can produce a plain text acknowledgement, attendance instruction or operational alert using the scan information supplied to the Zap. The same trigger can run Create Contact when the scan includes a person's mobile details, giving the team a record in Mobile Message for later communication. Add Contact to List can place scanned participants into a prepared audience when that suits the workflow.

The CodeREADr action Add/Update Barcode Value is available for the opposite direction, but it does not by itself provide a clear customer-facing result from an SMS event. For most teams, the useful pattern starts with a scan and ends with a Mobile Message action. It is a Zapier workflow, not a native two-way integration.
