A site supervisor is working through a project when a new RFI needs an answer from someone off-site. Benetics can send New RFI to Mobile Message through Zapier, so a project contact receives an SMS with the request and the information needed to respond. The same approach can be used for New Task when a team member needs a prompt outside the Benetics workspace.

Construction teams can also use Updated RFI or Updated Task to alert a responsible person when an item changes. A short message can identify the project and explain that the record needs checking. New Report Submission is another useful trigger for notifying an office team that a report has arrived and is ready for review.

This connection is set up in Zapier rather than inside a native Mobile Message integration. You choose a Benetics event, map the fields and select Send SMS. Mobile Message can also Create Contact when a suitable person is first identified. Used selectively, these workflows turn important Benetics events into notices people can act on while they are away from the project system.
