A customer completes an Anvil workflow, yet staff may still need to check the paperwork before telling anyone what happens next. Anvil and Mobile Message connect through Zapier so Signer Completion, Webform Completion or E-Sign Packet Completion can start an SMS. A Workflow Completion event can also notify an internal team when the full process is finished.

Use Signer Completion to thank a customer for signing, explain the next step or confirm that the request is being processed. Webform Completion can send a receipt-style acknowledgement, while E-Sign Packet Completion can notify a participant that all required signatures have arrived. Mobile Message can Send SMS, Send SMS to List or Create Contact using the relevant information passed by Anvil.

This removes a manual check from paperwork workflows and gives customers a clearer sense of progress. Configure the event and message in Zapier, map the phone number and insert only the fields your process needs. The workflow does not send attachments by SMS or alter Anvil documents. It sends a plain text notification after the selected Anvil event occurs.
