Manual follow-up after a model job can leave your team checking dashboards instead of acting on the result. With Amazon SageMaker connected through Zapier, a new training job can start a Mobile Message SMS, so the people responsible know that work has begun and can respond promptly.

You can also use Mobile Message to create a contact when a training job is created, or send an SMS to a list when a milestone needs wider attention. SageMaker can invoke an endpoint, but its available action is designed for inference requests rather than sending a notice back to your SMS account. This makes the connection useful for operational alerts around machine learning work, while Mobile Message handles the customer or staff message. Map the relevant phone number, model name, job identifier and status into a plain text message. Each Zap runs in one direction, with Zapier passing the selected event and fields between the two accounts. It does not provide a live two-way sync between SageMaker and Mobile Message.
