Teams running a support line on top of Mobile Message often want more than a person typing every reply by hand. Amazon Bedrock gives that setup access to a foundation model through actions like Converse, which sends a message to a model and gets a response back, and Apply Guardrail, which checks content against rules before it's trusted.

A business that handles a steady stream of inbound texts can use these two together. When a customer's message comes through Mobile Message, it can be handed to Converse to get a drafted reply, or run through Apply Guardrail first to flag anything that looks like abuse or a policy problem before a person reads it. Neither action changes what happens on the Mobile Message side, it only decides what a Zap does with the text once it lands.

Guardrails themselves are set up through Bedrock's Create Guardrail action, so the rules a message gets checked against are defined once and reused across every Zap that touches inbound texts. The whole connection runs through Zapier, with both accounts kept separate and no code required to move a message from one to the other, or to send whatever Bedrock returns back out through a further step.
