HomeManager SMS Integration

A homeowner usually only remembers a maintenance job once something has already gone wrong, such as a blocked gutter, a flat smoke alarm battery or an overdue filter change. HomeManager keeps track of what's due each month through its Get Maintenance Tasks action, so the list exists somewhere other than a mental note that gets forgotten.

Paired with Mobile Message through Zapier, that list can be pulled up the moment it's actually needed. A homeowner texting in with a question can have this month's Get Maintenance Tasks results checked straight away, and a reminder event starting in Google Calendar can trigger the same lookup before a text goes out summarising what's due. Either way, nobody has to open HomeManager first to remember what's on the list. Neither trigger changes anything inside HomeManager itself. Each one just pulls up the same monthly list from a different starting point, whichever moment happens to prompt it.
