Customers should leave a HappyFox Chat conversation knowing what happens next, even when the exchange ends outside your team’s ideal hours. A finished chat may need a follow-up text, while a missed chat or offline message can signal that a visitor is waiting for help. Without an alert, that customer may move on before anyone responds.

Through Zapier, HappyFox Chat can trigger Mobile Message when a chat finishes, an incoming chat is missed or a visitor leaves an offline message. Mobile Message can then send an SMS, create a contact, update a contact or add a contact to a list. A missed chat can alert the support team, while an offline message can send a brief acknowledgement to the visitor when a phone number is available.

This gives each chat event a defined outcome without asking an agent to monitor two systems at once. The connection is not a live conversation sync, and it does not make Mobile Message a replacement for HappyFox Chat. It simply passes the selected event and available fields through Zapier to the SMS or contact action you choose.
