An accounts team working in AccountingBox can send a timely message when a new invoice enters the web application. Invoice Submitted can start a Zapier workflow with Mobile Message, helping staff acknowledge an invoice event or send a customer-facing notice without manually moving details between systems.

The SMS can confirm that an invoice has been submitted, alert an internal finance contact, or provide the next step for a customer when the relevant phone number and invoice information are available in the workflow. This is useful when a visible text alert is more likely to be noticed promptly than a new item in an accounting application.

The connection uses Zapier and requires AccountingBox and Mobile Message accounts. AccountingBox supplies the Invoice Submitted event, and Mobile Message performs the selected action. It is not a native two-way connection. Map the invoice fields into Send SMS, test the message with sample data and activate the Zap once the recipient and wording are correct.
