A new or updated visit may signal that someone has joined a queue, changed their booking or needs a timely status message. A New or Updated Message event can also provide a clear point for an SMS response, rather than leaving staff to watch each location manually.

Use Waitwhile’s New or Updated Visit trigger with Mobile Message’s Send SMS action to tell a visitor what happens next. New or Updated Message can also send an SMS when a message is created or updated for a visit. For a new customer, Waitwhile’s Create Customer action can be started by an Inbound SMS Received event when a customer texts your Mobile Message number, giving staff a record to check in Waitwhile. The workflow runs through Zapier and is one-directional for each Zap, not a native two-way integration or automatic record sync.
