A new lead is created in Verloop just as a conversation closes, and the sales team now needs to decide who will follow up. Leaving that lead in a dashboard can create a delay, especially when the conversation ends outside normal working hours. A Zap can use New Lead to send an SMS through Mobile Message while the contact is still engaged.

The text could confirm that a team member will respond, provide a direct contact number or invite the lead to continue the conversation by SMS. Mobile Message sends the message as plain text using the phone information passed from Verloop. This gives the lead a clear next step instead of leaving them to wonder whether their conversation was received.

The connection is set up in Zapier. Select Verloop's New Lead trigger, choose Send SMS in Mobile Message and map the lead's details into the message. You can test the wording before switching the Zap on, so the handover from Verloop to SMS is consistent and easy for your team to manage.
