About the vcita integration

A client books an appointment or pays an invoice, but your team may not have time to send a personal update straight away. vcita provides events such as New Appointment, New Payment, and New Invoice, which can start Mobile Message SMS workflows through Zapier. That means customers can receive confirmations and payment-related updates without a staff member copying details between systems.

A vcita event can send an SMS, create a Mobile Message contact, or add a client to a list. You can also use Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger to create a new textual message in an existing vcita client record, giving your team a place to review a customer’s reply. These are focused one-way Zaps, not a native two-way integration.

Use the fields available in vcita to personalise appointment and payment messages. Before publishing, confirm that the client mobile number is mapped correctly and that the text contains only the information you want sent to the customer.

A Zapier account and subscription is required for this integration. Please view Zapier's pricing page for further information.

vcita + SMS: common questions

Can vcita send an SMS after a new appointment is created?

Yes. New Appointment is a vcita trigger that can run Mobile Message’s Send SMS action. Map the client’s number and appointment details to send a confirmation or preparation reminder.

Can replies to Mobile Message appear in vcita?

Yes. Inbound SMS Received can trigger vcita’s New Message action. The workflow adds the incoming text to an existing vcita client, provided the client can be identified from the mapped information.

How do I connect vcita appointments to Mobile Message?

Use Zapier to choose a vcita event and a Mobile Message action, then authorise both services. No code is needed. You need active vcita and Mobile Message accounts and a tested Zap.
