Social WiFi SMS Integration

A visitor joins the WiFi at a venue and becomes a known contact, but that useful moment can disappear into Social WiFi without a follow-up. Through Zapier, User Visited Venue can trigger Mobile Message Send SMS, allowing the venue to send a short welcome or explain the next step after login. The message can be timed around the visit and personalised with the information supplied by Social WiFi.

This is a simple outbound workflow for operators who want to acknowledge a visitor while the experience is still fresh. Social WiFi provides the event, and Mobile Message sends the plain text message. User Data Deleted is also available as a trigger, but it does not provide a suitable customer-facing result through the listed Mobile Message actions, so it is not presented as an automation here.

Social WiFi has no listed actions, which means Mobile Message events cannot write data back into the app through this connection. Configure the useful path in Zapier, map the visitor’s phone number, test the message and consider the permissions attached to any contact data before enabling the Zap.
