A matchmaker is reviewing a client change in SmartMatchApp when a new, updated or deleted client event arrives. A Zap can use that event to send a Mobile Message SMS, alerting the matchmaker or support team when a record needs attention. It can also create or update a Mobile Message contact so the person has a suitable SMS record for later communication.

This is useful when client changes should prompt an immediate internal check or when a newly captured phone number should be added to Mobile Message. An inbound SMS can trigger Create or Update Client in SmartMatchApp, allowing a reply to create a client record or update one when the mapped details are appropriate. The workflow remains one-directional at each step and is configured through Zapier. It is not a native, always-on synchronisation between the two services. SmartMatchApp’s photo upload action is not a suitable result for a plain text SMS event, so it is not included. Delivery Status Updated can begin a separate Mobile Message workflow if a delivery alert is useful.
