Online retailers and operations teams often need to tell customers what happened immediately after an order event. SellerCloud brings orders, returns, purchasing and inventory into an ecommerce workflow, while Mobile Message can send the customer-facing text. Through Zapier, a new order, a new RMA or an updated order can start a Mobile Message action, so staff do not need to copy details into a separate SMS each time.

The strongest use is a New Order trigger paired with Send SMS. Text a purchase acknowledgement, delivery expectation or payment follow-up using the order details supplied by SellerCloud. A New RMA can also trigger a message explaining that a return request has been received. For operational teams, New Inventory can start Send SMS to alert a nominated staff member when stock is added. These are separate one-way Zaps, not a native synchronised connection between the two platforms.

You can also pair New Order with Create Contact or Add Contact to List when the order supplies a suitable mobile number and the customer has given the required permission. Set up each workflow in Zapier, map the order fields carefully, and keep the SMS concise. This gives customers a clearer response while leaving stock and order records in SellerCloud.
