A contact event fires in Engage CRM and the sales team needs to know about it before the opportunity goes cold. With Zapier, that event can start a Mobile Message SMS to a nominated staff member or customer. Contact Modified can also update the matching Mobile Message contact, while a custom Contact Event Fired can add a person to a relevant messaging list.

Engage CRM, described in its app material as SalesOptima, helps teams organise and manage customer contacts. Its available triggers cover custom contact events and contacts being added, edited or deleted. Its Add or Edit Contact action can be started by Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received event when the incoming fields contain the information required by the CRM action.

This is useful for sales teams that want CRM activity to produce a clear, timely response. The connection is made from individual Zapier workflows, not from a native integration. It does not synchronise contact records in both directions. Decide whether each event should send a message, create a contact or update a contact, then test the mapped fields.
