Recharge SMS Integration

Yes - Mobile Message does integrate with Recharge!

The most powerful moment in a subscription business is when a payment successfully processes. Once a customer's charge is paid, you have a golden opportunity to confirm the transaction, thank them for their order, and set expectations for their next renewal or shipment.

Recharge powers subscription businesses by automating recurring billing and payment collections, but many store owners miss the chance to send immediate, personalised confirmations at critical moments. When a charge is paid, when a subscription is activated, or when a customer updates their payment information, you now have an automated way to keep them informed via SMS.

Mobile Message transforms these key Recharge events into instant text messages. Customers receive payment confirmations without delay, get notified about their subscription status, and feel confident in the process. For subscription businesses managing hundreds or thousands of recurring orders, automated SMS notifications eliminate manual follow-up and build trust.

Recharge + SMS: common questions

Can I send an SMS every time a customer's subscription renews in Recharge?

Yes. When a charge is paid in Recharge, you can trigger an SMS confirmation. If you also want a message before the next charge, use the charge update trigger to notify customers ahead of their next billing date.

What happens if a customer cancels their subscription?

You can set up a separate Zap that fires when a subscription is cancelled in Recharge. This allows you to send a text asking why they cancelled, offering a discount, or asking them to reactivate. You control the message content.

Do I need to manually add each customer to Mobile Message, or can Recharge feed them automatically?

When a new customer is created in Recharge, the Zapier automation can add them directly to Mobile Message as a contact, including their phone number and name. This happens without any manual intervention, keeping your contact list in sync.
