Email marketing and contact teams using Pinpointe often receive the most useful customer signals when a subscriber joins a database, is tagged or unsubscribes. Those events can otherwise remain inside an email platform while sales or service staff wait for someone to notice them. A timely SMS can put the right information in front of the team or customer.

Through Zapier, Pinpointe can start an automation when a New Subscriber is created, when a subscriber is tagged or when someone unsubscribes from a database. Mobile Message can then send an SMS, create a contact or add that contact to a list. A new subscriber can receive a welcome text, while a tagged subscriber can receive a relevant follow-up. Pinpointe’s Master Unsubscribe List can also trigger an internal SMS so someone reviews the contact promptly.

The connection works in one direction for each Zap, rather than acting as a live two-way sync. You choose the Pinpointe event, map the available subscriber details and select the Mobile Message result. That makes it easier to respond to important email-list activity without checking several systems manually.
