Pathway SMS Integration

Yes - Mobile Message does integrate with Pathway!

Insurance agencies and brokerages often work from Pathway while handling renewals, new policies and newly created clients. A new renewal can trigger an SMS that reminds the policyholder what to expect, while a new client can receive a welcome message before a staff member has time to make a manual call. New Policy can provide another useful point for confirmation and follow-up.

Mobile Message can send SMS to an individual or send SMS to List when a defined group needs an operational notice. Create Contact can store a person in Mobile Message, and Add Contact to List can place that person into a list for later communication. These actions can follow Pathway events in separate Zaps, allowing your team to choose the message and audience for each insurance process.

Pathway actions also make a reply-led workflow possible. When an inbound SMS is received, Mobile Message can trigger Add Contact to Flow, placing the responding contact into a Pathway flow where your existing insurance process continues. Delivery Status Updated can be used as another Mobile Message starting event for a Pathway action where that result suits your process. The setup runs through Zapier and does not create a native two-way synchronisation.

A Zapier account and subscription is required for this integration.
Please view Zapier's pricing page for further information.

Pathway + SMS: common questions

Can Pathway send renewal reminders by SMS?

Yes. New Renewal can start Mobile Message's Send SMS action. Map the policyholder's number and renewal information into a concise reminder, confirmation or next-step message.

Can an SMS response add someone to a Pathway flow?

Yes. Inbound SMS Received can trigger Pathway's Add Contact to Flow action. This lets a reply place the mapped contact into a suitable flow, subject to the contact details and flow requirements in Pathway.

How do I connect Pathway with Mobile Message?

Set up the chosen Pathway event and Mobile Message action in Zapier. Both services need active accounts, and no code is required. Test the phone number, contact fields and selected flow before switching the Zap on.
