About the Order Desk integration

A new order appears in Order Desk while the fulfilment team is preparing the next step. Customers may want confirmation, and staff may need to know when an order changes folder or receives shipment information. If those updates depend on someone checking the order queue and sending messages manually, small delays can create avoidable support work.

Through Zapier, Order Desk's New Order Added trigger can start Mobile Message's Send SMS action. Send a plain text order acknowledgement, notify a team member about a new order or provide a customer update when an Order Folder Changed event occurs. Mobile Message can also trigger Order Desk's Add Order Note action when a customer texts your number, creating a visible note for the fulfilment team.

Order Desk remains the source of order events, and Mobile Message handles the selected SMS action. This is not a two-way order sync. Choose the fields that are safe and useful to include, keep the message clear and test the workflow so it responds only to the Order Desk events that matter to your operation.
