Following up after a form submission or product purchase can become a manual chase in Ontraport. A contact may be added to a campaign, tagged and left waiting for someone to send the next message. An SMS triggered from the relevant event gives prospects and customers a prompt while their action is still fresh.

Zapier connects Ontraport events with Mobile Message actions such as Send SMS, Create Contact and Add Contact to List. A New Form Submission can send an acknowledgement, while Product Purchased can send onboarding instructions. Tag Added can add a contact to a Mobile Message list for a targeted campaign, and New Contact can create the person in Mobile Message. Mobile Message can also trigger Ontraport's Create or Update Contact when an inbound SMS arrives, so a reply can be recorded in the marketing platform.

This connection lets coaches, experts and information marketers choose a clear message for each event. It is not a native integration or an automatic two-way sync. Each Zap has a defined trigger, mapped fields and one action, making it easier to control what is sent and when.
