An applicant has completed identity verification, but your team still needs to notice the result and communicate the next step. ONBORD records Applicant Verified, Applicant Made Live and Applicant Exported events, while Zapier can pass a selected event to Mobile Message. That gives onboarding teams a way to send a plain text update when an applicant reaches a meaningful stage.

Mobile Message can send an SMS, create a contact, update a contact and add contacts to lists. Applicant Verified can therefore send a confirmation where the applicant's mobile number is available, while Applicant Made Live can create a Mobile Message contact for future communication. Applicant Exported may also be used to notify an internal recipient list when an onboarding record leaves the flow.

These workflows remove the need to monitor every ONBORD status manually before sending routine messages. Pick the ONBORD trigger, map the applicant data and test the message in Zapier. The connection is a one-way workflow from ONBORD to Mobile Message and does not provide a native two-way update.
