People who run smaller accommodation properties often move between reservations, guest messages and daily operations with little time to check every system. Octorate can send a New Reservation or Modified Reservation event into Zapier, while Mobile Message can send a confirmation or update by SMS. A New Message event can also alert the right person when a guest contacts the web concierge.

Through Zapier, New Reservation can trigger Send SMS with arrival information or booking confirmation. Modified Reservation can send an updated detail, and New Message can trigger Create Contact so the guest is available in Mobile Message. Octorate's Add Reservation action can be started by an Inbound SMS Received event where your process collects the information needed for a new reservation.

The connection is built through Zapier, with one trigger and one action in each workflow. It does not create a native two-way reservation sync. Map guest details, dates and message content from the selected event, then test with a sample booking. This gives accommodation teams a practical way to make key reservation moments more visible to guests and staff.
