A new customer appears in Octane AI, but the useful welcome message can still be delayed if the marketing team relies on a later list export. Customer Created gives Zapier an immediate event to work with. Customer Updated can also start a message when a customer’s available details change and a timely follow-up is appropriate.

Through Zapier, Octane AI can trigger Mobile Message’s Send SMS action. A merchant could welcome a new customer, confirm that their details were received, or alert a team member when a customer record is updated. The SMS uses the mobile number and fields available in the Octane AI event, so the message can be personalised for the intended audience.

Each workflow runs from one Octane AI event to one Mobile Message action. This is not a native integration or a two-way customer database sync. It is a practical way to put selected Octane AI customer events in front of people by text, with the message and recipient defined in Zapier.
