A new comment can trigger an SMS notification for the responsible reviewer, while a comment reply or unresolved comment can bring attention back to an item that needs action. A project review created event can also mark a useful handover point.

Through Zapier, MarkUp.io can trigger Mobile Message Send SMS, Create Contact or Add Contact to List. A team member can receive a text containing the project name, comment summary and link, or a client contact can be added to a suitable Mobile Message list when review activity begins. MarkUp.io remains the workspace for contextual feedback and review status, while Mobile Message handles the notification. The available events do not send comments as attachments or maintain a two-way status sync. Keep the SMS plain text and include a link to the relevant MarkUp where more detail is needed.
