About the Manychat integration

A new subscriber joins a Manychat bot and, if nobody sets anything up on the back end, that person only ever exists inside Messenger, invisible to anyone running SMS campaigns from Mobile Message. New Subscriber is the trigger that changes that, alongside events like New Order Paid, New Tagged User and Chat Opened, each one able to start a Zap the moment it happens without anyone checking the bot manually every day.

Paired with Mobile Message, those Manychat events can create a contact, add someone to an SMS list, update a custom field or update contact details, so a person who first showed up in a chatbot ends up reachable by text too, no matter which platform they first messaged from. A text message that fails to deliver can also be set to trigger a message to that person inside Manychat, so the conversation carries on somewhere that is actually working instead of stalling.
