A new record is added to a Makeswift table, but the team member who needs to review it may not be watching the website builder. Without a prompt, a request or operational detail can wait for the next manual check. SMS can make the arrival of that record visible to the right person.

Makeswift provides the New Record trigger when a new record is added. Mobile Message can then send an SMS, create a contact or add a contact to a list. This supports a simple notification workflow for a site operator, or contact creation when the record contains a suitable name and phone number. The message can include the record information available to the Zap.

Set up the event and result in Zapier, then choose the fields that belong in the text or contact record. The workflow moves in one direction from Makeswift to Mobile Message. It is not a native integration and does not maintain a two-way copy of records. Both accounts are needed, and the connection can be configured without custom code.
