A new survey, quiz or form response has just arrived while your team is handling other work. MakeForms captures useful customer information, but a response can sit in the form builder until someone notices it and decides what should happen next.

MakeForms’ New Response trigger can start Mobile Message’s Send SMS action through Zapier. Send an alert to a staff member who needs to review the response, or acknowledge the respondent when the submission includes a suitable mobile number. The trigger can also start Create Contact and Add Contact to List, allowing a respondent to be recorded and placed in the audience selected for that form.

The result is a clearer handoff from a MakeForms response to a visible SMS or contact record. MakeForms remains the source of the response, and Mobile Message performs the selected action. You can map the form fields, choose the recipient and add filters in Zapier so only relevant answers send a message. This is a one-way workflow rather than a synchronised database connection.
