About the MailPion integration

A new subscriber may need an immediate welcome text, while an unsubscribe event can signal that a contact should also be removed from SMS communication. When a new subscriber is created, Mobile Message can create a contact, add the person to a list or send a short welcome SMS. When MailPion reports a new unsubscriber, Mobile Message can add an unsubscribe entry so the person is not contacted by SMS through the relevant process. MailPion remains the email marketing system, and Mobile Message handles the SMS contact action.

This arrangement is useful when customers choose different communication channels and your team wants their preferences reflected in both systems.
