Mailfold SMS Integration

A campaign is created in Mailfold, and your team wants customers to receive the next message without someone re-entering contact details elsewhere. Mailfold provides Created Campaign and Created Automations as triggers. Either event can start a Mobile Message action through Zapier, such as sending an SMS or creating a contact.

A campaign event could notify an internal coordinator that a direct-mail activity has been prepared. Creating a contact in Mobile Message can also give the messaging team a record to check before a later SMS workflow. The supplied Mailfold action is Create Contact, while Mobile Message can send an SMS, create a contact or add a contact to a list. The most useful result depends on the fields available from the Mailfold event.

The connection is configured in Zapier with Mailfold and Mobile Message accounts. Choose the Mailfold trigger, map the available recipient information and select the Mobile Message action. Mailfold campaigns are delivered by direct mail, so this connection should be used for a separate, plain-text SMS notification rather than describing SMS as part of Mailfold delivery.
