A new notification appears in Magnetic while your team is handling clients, projects, accounts and HR work across the day. A Zap can use New Notification to send an SMS through Mobile Message, so an important item reaches the person responsible without relying on someone to keep the Magnetic screen open. This is useful for urgent operational reminders and customer-facing follow-up.

Magnetic also offers actions including Create Contact, Create Task, Create Opportunity/Job and Create Contact Record. Mobile Message Inbound SMS Received can start a Zap that creates a Magnetic task or contact record when a customer texts your number. A separate notification workflow can send a plain text message to an operator or customer. Each path has one trigger and one action, so it does not imply that Magnetic and Mobile Message continuously update each other.

The connection is made in Zapier. Select New Notification or the Mobile Message inbound event, map the available fields, and test the resulting record or message before switching the Zap on. This gives Magnetic users a practical SMS route around selected events.
