Sales operators who manage contacts in Leader can put a useful SMS behind new leads, follow-up tasks and recent activity. New Contact can trigger a Mobile Message welcome or acknowledgement, while New Activity can send a text after an important interaction is recorded. Mobile Message can also create or update a contact from Leader data.

New Task gives a practical prompt for the person responsible for the next step. An SMS can tell a customer what to expect, or an inbound Mobile Message reply can create a task in Leader for a staff member to handle. New Note and Updated Contact provide further events for targeted messages when a record changes.

The connection is built in Zapier, one trigger and one action per workflow. It is not a native CRM synchronisation. Select the Leader event that matters, map the phone number and relevant fields, and add filters so routine changes do not produce unnecessary texts. This gives your team a more visible follow-up process around the contacts already managed in Leader.
