Sales and service teams using karmaCRM can react to new relationship activity while the details are still fresh. A new contact, company or task in karmaCRM can start an SMS through Zapier and Mobile Message. That means a newly created record can prompt a welcome message, an internal alert or a reminder without relying on someone to check the CRM throughout the day.

New Contact is a useful starting point for sending a welcome text or creating the person in Mobile Message. New Task can alert a team member that an action has been assigned. New Company can also create a Mobile Message contact when a business relationship needs to be available for future text communication. The message and recipient are selected in the Zap.

The connection works event by event. karmaCRM starts the Zap with the trigger you choose, and Mobile Message carries out the selected action. You can send an SMS, create a contact or add a contact to a list, but the services do not become a shared two-way CRM.
