ifthenpay SMS Integration

A customer who gets a text with a link they can tap and pay from settles up faster than one who has to wait for an email or dig out a portal login. Ifthenpay's job in a Zap is to create that payment link the moment it is needed, so Mobile Message can put it straight into a text rather than a customer chasing a separate invoice somewhere else.

On its own ifthenpay only creates the link, it does not send anything to a customer, which is where Mobile Message comes in. Set up through Zapier, an overdue invoice in Xero or a new lead from Facebook Lead Ads can trigger ifthenpay to generate a payment link, and that link can go straight out as a text a few seconds later. The customer never has to open an email or find their way back to an old invoice.

A customer can also text in directly and ask how to pay, which can generate a fresh payment link in ifthenpay ready for whoever picks up the reply. None of this reads payment status back into Mobile Message or Xero automatically, it only builds the link and gets it moving, but for a business chasing payment that one step often makes the difference between a paid invoice and a forgotten one.
