Employee Advocacy by Sprout Social SMS Integration

A story is activated while employees are ready to read and share it, but the people who need to promote it may not be looking at Advocacy. Employee Advocacy by Sprout Social provides a Story Activated trigger. A Zap can send a Mobile Message SMS to the relevant coordinator or group as soon as the story becomes available.

This is useful for internal communications, campaign launches and employee sharing programmes. The text can include the story title or other information exposed by the trigger, then direct staff to Advocacy for the full story and sharing instructions. Send SMS suits a coordinator or manager, while Send SMS to List can notify a prepared group of participating employees.

The connection runs through Zapier and does not create or activate a story from Mobile Message. It turns a selected Advocacy event into a plain text alert. That gives your team a second way to notice important content and decide when a story needs internal promotion, without suggesting that the two platforms maintain a native shared record.
