Manual customer tagging can leave people in the wrong segment after a marketing workflow starts. Customer Tags & Segments by Shop Circle provides a Workflow Initiated event, which can give your SMS process a clear starting point. When that workflow begins, Mobile Message can send a plain-text message to a suitable customer or internal recipient using the data available to the Zap.

Through Zapier, the Shop Circle app can pass the workflow event to Mobile Message Send SMS. This may suit a targeted welcome, reminder or status message where the workflow already decides which customer group is involved. The app has no supplied actions, so Mobile Message inbound SMS events cannot add or change tags or segments in Shop Circle. The connection is therefore an outbound message step from a workflow event.

You remain in control of the message content, recipient fields and timing in Zapier. Shop Circle starts the workflow event, while Mobile Message delivers the configured SMS.
