Workforce coordinators using CrewDriver need workers to know about job changes while shifts are being filled. A new position or worker response can start a Zapier workflow that asks Mobile Message to send an SMS with the next instruction. CrewDriver's Worker Job Call SMS's trigger can also notify another team member when a job message is sent to a worker.

This is useful when a field team cannot rely on someone checking a dashboard. Position Updates can prompt a text to the right worker, while Worker Responses can alert an operations contact that a response has arrived. You can create Mobile Message contacts for contractors as they are added in CrewDriver, then use those records in later messaging workflows. The message content and recipient fields are selected in Zapier.

The connection is configured through Zapier and is one-directional for each workflow. It does not replace CrewDriver's workforce logic or create automatic two-way updates. Keep message sending hours, worker consent and escalation rules in mind when designing the Zaps.
