About the Bright Sites integration

An order has just been placed for promotional products and the customer expects acknowledgement before the sales team has reviewed every detail. Bright Sites can send an Order Created event to Zapier, which then asks Mobile Message to send a confirmation or internal notification. The customer receives a clear next step while the order continues to be managed in Bright Sites.

Order Updated can start another SMS workflow when important order information changes. This may suit a revised delivery expectation or a request for the customer to contact the distributor. Mobile Message can send an SMS to a number or list, create a contact, update a contact, and add a contact to a list. Bright Sites also provides Update Order and Cancel Order actions, so an inbound Mobile Message text can start a workflow that changes an order when the required order number and instruction are available. Each automation is a separate Zapier workflow. The apps do not maintain a native two-way connection, and the exact message content depends on the fields available in the order event.

Bright Sites + SMS: common questions

Can Bright Sites send an SMS when an order is placed?

Yes. Order Created can trigger Mobile Message’s Send SMS action in Zapier. Use the order fields to address the customer and include a confirmation or useful next step.

Can customers request an order cancellation by SMS?

A Zap can use Inbound SMS Received to start Bright Sites’ Cancel Order action. The incoming text must provide enough information, such as the order number, for the action to identify the intended order.

How do I connect Bright Sites orders with Mobile Message?

Set up the workflow in Zapier and sign in to both Bright Sites and Mobile Message. There is no coding requirement. Choose the order trigger, map the recipient and message fields, test the result, and turn the Zap on.
