A new appointment appears in BOOKM while the customer is still deciding how to prepare for the meeting or service. If confirmation depends on someone checking the booking screen and sending a separate message, the customer can be left uncertain. A quick SMS can make the booking feel clear and attended to.

Through Zapier, BOOKM’s New Appointment trigger can start Mobile Message’s Send SMS action. The message can confirm the appointment, share a time or provide a short preparation note using the booking details. Mobile Message can also create a contact from the appointment, so the person’s number is available for later communication.

This gives scheduling teams a simple route from a new BOOKM booking to a visible customer touchpoint. It does not alter the appointment or provide a two-way calendar sync. Instead, the Zap uses the booking event to send one useful SMS, or it uses an inbound Mobile Message text to create an appointment in BOOKM when that process suits your team.
