A product team can use Bimbala to involve customers in development, but a new roadmap item may still go unnoticed by the people who need to review or promote it. When a new item goes to the roadmap, a Zap can send a Mobile Message alert to a product owner, customer contact or internal team member. That keeps the next review step visible without asking someone to monitor Bimbala continuously.

The SMS can include the roadmap item name, status or other available fields from Bimbala. If the item data includes suitable contact information, the same trigger can create a Mobile Message contact or add that person to a list. Mobile Message can also receive replies through Inbound SMS Received, although Bimbala has no provided action for that event, so the useful direction here is from Bimbala into Mobile Message.

The connection runs through Zapier and uses New Roadmap Item as its available Bimbala trigger. It does not synchronise product records or create a native two-way integration. Use the alert to prompt a review, customer update or internal discussion, then keep the detailed roadmap work in Bimbala.
