The event can start the next task, but a customer message may still require someone to open the CRM, check the contact, and send an SMS separately. That manual step can leave a useful prompt sitting in the workflow instead of reaching the person at the right time.

Through Zapier, New Webhook Automation Event can start Mobile Message's Send SMS action. The event can carry the contact details and message values needed for a plain text update, such as a reminder, acknowledgement, or follow-up prompt. BenchmarkONE's Create/Update Contact action can also run when Mobile Message receives an inbound SMS, so a reply can create or update the contact record your team checks.

This gives CRM teams a direct way to turn a selected automation event into an SMS. It is not a native two-way connection or a general contact sync. Each Zap has one trigger and one action, configured in Zapier, with the message content and contact fields mapped deliberately before the workflow is enabled.
