When a reply lands, Zapier can create a contact in Ytel automatically, giving the sales or support team a record to work from without anyone typing a phone number in twice. The same reply can run a carrier lookup, pulling back network details on the spot so a business knows more about the person it just heard from. And because Ytel handles voice as well as text, a reply can start a campaign sent using phone, moving that person straight into a calling or messaging sequence instead of waiting on someone to notice it.
None of this asks Ytel and Mobile Message to talk to each other directly. Zapier sits between them, watching for a reply on the Mobile Message side and carrying out the matching action in Ytel. For a business already running campaigns through Ytel, a text reply does not have to be chased down by hand before the next step happens.

- Carrier Lookup — Oftentimes the carrier a person uses determines how you want to market to them. Carrier Lookup will return information about the carrier including the carrier name, location, and whether it is a mobile number or not.
- Create a Contact — Create a contact on the Ytel Platform with some of the basic information needed for communications. You may then use the returned ContactID to send an SMS, Make a Call, or store back into your trigger application for future use.
- Send Campaign Using ContactID — Triggers the sending of a campaign. When sending a campaign it will either start the campaign immediately or queue it for sending if it is currently outside of timezone protection. This action allows you to send a campaign to a ContactID as the communication endpoint.
- Send Campaign Using Phone — Triggers the sending of a campaign. When sending a campaign it will either start the campaign immediately or queue it for sending if it is currently outside of timezone protection. This action uses a contact phone number as the communication endpoint. If you already have a contact in our system or store results from adding a contact in your own system, use the Send Campaign using ContactID action.

Yes. When a customer replies to a text sent through Mobile Message, Zapier can pass that reply straight to Ytel and create a contact record there, so the team has details to work from without typing anything in by hand.
Can a text reply start a Ytel campaign?
Yes. A reply picked up by Mobile Message can be set up to trigger Ytel's Send Campaign Using Phone action, moving that person into a calling or messaging sequence in Ytel without anyone opening the platform to do it manually.
What do I need to link Mobile Message replies to Ytel?
You need a Mobile Message account, a Ytel account, and a Zapier account to build the Zap. No code is required. Once the Zap is turned on, replies picked up by Mobile Message can flow into Ytel on their own.
