A new customer, task or support ticket lands in Workiom, and your team needs to acknowledge it before it is forgotten. With Zapier, Workiom can start an SMS workflow whenever a new record is added or an existing record is updated. Mobile Message can then send a direct text to the customer, staff member or responsible colleague.

This is useful for CRM, task management and ticketing workflows where an important record should prompt action outside the Workiom workspace. A new record could send a confirmation or allocation message, while an updated record could notify someone that a request has changed. You can also use an inbound SMS from Mobile Message to create a new Workiom record, giving your team a visible place to review incoming customer messages.

Each Zap is configured around the fields and information you choose to pass between the apps. It does not create a native two-way connection or continuously synchronise records. Instead, Zapier watches for the selected Workiom event and runs the chosen Mobile Message action, or sends an inbound Mobile Message event into Workiom. That keeps routine notifications and record creation consistent without asking staff to copy information between systems.
