Variance SMS Integration

Teams that use Variance typically watch customer and account signals across product, marketing and sales activity. A new contact, a new tagged account or a matched stream event can indicate that somebody should be contacted while the signal is still useful. Instead of asking a person to monitor every change, a selected Variance event can start a direct SMS workflow.

Through Zapier, Variance can pass New Contact, Contact Property Updated, New Tagged Contact or New Stream Event to Mobile Message. The SMS can notify a sales owner, invite a customer to take a next step or place a newly identified person into a messaging list. Variance’s Create Contact and Contact Update actions can also be used when Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger provides information that should be recorded in Variance, giving a sensible route from a customer reply into a contact record. This is a Zapier workflow, not a native synchronisation service. Each Zap responds to one event and performs one selected action. Choose the fields your Variance account makes available, map the mobile number carefully and test the message or record action before relying on it for live growth signals.
