Customers notice fresh content most when it reaches them while the subject is still relevant. StoryStream publishes content into your digital channels, but an important article or update can pass quietly while your audience waits for the next campaign or checks another channel.

Through Zapier, StoryStream’s Content Published trigger can start Mobile Message’s Send SMS action. A newly published item can prompt a short text to subscribers, customers or an internal team, with a link back to the content. Mobile Message can also send the message to a list when the audience is managed there.

This approach gives each publication a clear route to people who have agreed to receive SMS updates. The text can highlight the new content and direct readers to the right page, without requiring someone to copy the title and link into a separate message. StoryStream remains the publishing source, while Mobile Message handles the SMS delivery.
