Storipress SMS Integration

A publishing team has just released an article, but the people who need to promote it may not be watching Storipress at that moment. Storipress users can use Zapier to turn publishing activity into a Mobile Message alert, so a marketer or editor receives a text when an article is published. An article newsletter sent event can also notify a campaign owner that distribution has happened.

This can reduce the manual chase between editorial and marketing teams. A new subscriber event can create a Mobile Message contact, while article unpublished and article updated events can alert people who need to review a change. Storipress provides triggers for article and subscriber activity, along with actions such as Publish Article, Create Subscriber and Create Article. Mobile Message supplies the visible SMS and contact actions, including Send SMS, Send SMS to List, Create Contact and Add Contact to List. The connection is made through Zapier rather than a native integration. It sends events in one direction and does not synchronise Storipress content or subscriber records. Add the article title or relevant publication detail to the text so the recipient knows what needs attention.
