A customer completes a Startquestion survey and the response is ready for review. New Survey Response can start a Zap which sends an SMS through Mobile Message, helping a manager notice important feedback without repeatedly checking the survey dashboard. This is useful for customer satisfaction, employee feedback or user research where a prompt internal alert supports a faster response.

Startquestion handles the survey and email invitation side of the process, while Mobile Message provides a plain text alert or follow-up message. Zapier passes the response information you select between the accounts. The connection is not native and it does not synchronise survey results or create a two-way feedback record. Use the response fields to decide who should receive the SMS and whether the message should highlight a score, a comment or a request for review. Startquestion’s Send Survey via Email action can also be started by an inbound SMS from Mobile Message when a text provides a suitable recipient and survey workflow.

Keep sensitive comments out of broad SMS alerts. A short notification can direct the right person to review the complete response in Startquestion, while the survey platform remains the source of the full feedback record.
