A survey response arrives while your team is gathering feedback from customers, members, or participants. If the response needs a personal acknowledgement or a follow-up conversation, waiting for someone to review the survey can make the process feel distant. SmartSurvey’s New Response trigger can start a Mobile Message action through Zapier, so the respondent can receive a timely plain-text message.

Send an SMS thanking the person for responding, confirming that their feedback was received, or directing them to a next step. You can also use Create Contact to place the respondent in Mobile Message, or add the person to a list for a defined communications process. SmartSurvey’s Create Contact and Send Survey actions can be used when an inbound Mobile Message text should create a contact or send a survey invitation, provided those actions fit your workflow. The connection does not interpret answers, update survey records, or provide automatic two-way synchronisation. It gives your survey response a selected SMS or contact action, with the fields and message content configured in Zapier.
