Finance teams and operators who run billing through Proper Payments can act on invoice events without watching a dashboard all day. Invoice Created or Finalised can start a Mobile Message text that tells a customer an invoice is ready. Customer Overdue can send a payment reminder when an invoice passes its due date, while Invoice Payment Status Changed can acknowledge a successful payment.

You can use Customer Created or Updated with Create Contact to keep mobile details available in Mobile Message, then add the contact to a list for a selected billing audience. Mobile Message's Delivery Status Updated trigger can also start Proper Payments' Update Customer action when your team wants a delivery result to prompt a record update, provided the mapped data and business rules suit that action. Each Zap runs in one direction through Zapier, rather than synchronising both systems. Proper Payments remains responsible for invoices and subscriptions, while Mobile Message sends the plain-text customer communication.
