A Moneypenny receptionist or chat operator may send your team a message while you are serving a customer, driving between appointments or away from the office. If that message waits in an inbox, an urgent callback or new enquiry can be delayed. Through Zapier, Moneypenny's Message Received event can pass the details to Mobile Message for a prompt SMS alert.

The alert can go to an owner, duty manager or sales representative and can include the caller's details and the message supplied by Moneypenny. Mobile Message's Send SMS action makes the notification visible on a phone, helping the right person decide what to do next. You can also use Create Contact when a received Moneypenny message includes a new person's details, so the contact is available in Mobile Message for later communication. This setup does not turn Mobile Message into a call or chat system. Moneypenny continues to handle its service, and Zapier carries the selected event between the two platforms.
