A customer can receive a useful reply while your team is managing conversations in ManyContacts. Contact Created can start a Zapier workflow that sends an SMS through Mobile Message, creates a Mobile Message contact or adds one to a list. ManyContacts can also send a WhatsApp message, add a tag or add an internal note when a workflow starts elsewhere.

For example, a newly created contact can receive an SMS with your next step or support number. The same event can create a record in Mobile Message so the contact is available for later SMS communication. If an existing Mobile Message customer texts your business, Inbound SMS Received can add a note, tag or WhatsApp message in ManyContacts, where staff can see the conversation context. These are separate, one-direction automations rather than a synchronised contact database. The connection is made through Zapier, and each workflow should have one clear purpose. Test the mapped phone number and message content before using it with live conversations.
